make your kitchen sink shine

The kitchen sink is one of the hard fixtures to keep clean in the house, just like our bathroom.

Here are the simple tips on how to make our kitchen sink gleam like new.

1. Of course, the kitchen sink should be free of dishes, take them out of the sink.
2. Pour hot water and fill it to the rim.
3. Pour a cup of household bleach into the hot water and let it sit for an hour.
4. After an hour, pull the plug so that the sink will be drained.
5. Rinse the sink with clean water.
6. Use some cleanser and scrub the sink with a scrubbing pad or sponge. Then rinse well.
7. Scrub the rim of the sink with rough side of the sponge.
8. Brush around the area of the faucet too.  You may need a small brush or an old toothbrush.
9. Next, pour some window cleaner on the sink, this will bring the shine to the sink.
10. To maintain the sink's shine, do this every time you use your sink or every time you run water into it. You may lay a clean dishtowel on the sink so that every time you're finished using the sink, you can dry it with the towel.
11. Avoid putting the dirty dishes and glasses in the sink, try to have a separate pan for it.  Put away the dishes away the sink as soon as they are washed and dried.  Do not leave the dish-drying rack on the counter or in the sink.
