Be Beautiful when travelling

Whether you want to go out of the country or just visit relatives or friends in the province, these tips will surely help you get through it with a STYLE.  These sets not only suggest chicness but they also serve FUNCTION.

Outfit Set # 1- Ready for Take-Off ( or the Bus )

It doesn't matter if you're taking the plane or the bus, or if you have a private ride, we want to be comfortable yet chic not only during the trip but also on our way to the airport or terminal or the meeting spot.
A black ankle-leggings would be a best bottom wear for travelling, not only it makes your legs look sexy & slimmer but it also gives you comfort & ease in movement.  You may also try  shorts or skirts ( for the younger readers) but make sure it's not that skimpy or mini so as not to distract anyone. =)
A comfy tee or tank top is advisable for travelling nowadays because of the 30º -32º C temperature in our country.  There are lot of colors and print to choose from, stick to light-colored, light texture and avoid the lacey ones. It is though advisable to bring a cardigan or pashmina just in case you can't stand the freeze inside the plane or the bus.
For those who will take the plane, it is best to forego  the accessories or jewelry due to those airport metal detectors. You can wear a scarf instead, choose a bold-colored  or printed one since your top is already plain. It serves also as a protector from the sunrays or to keep your hair groomed.   Choose a pair of shoes that gives you not only comfort but also style. Just leave your stilletos or flatforms or clogs at home.   A lot of ballet flats, gladiators, leather flip flops or sandals are in the market.  Don't forget your pair of sunglasses.  Just like the scarf,  it will not only add style to your outfit but it will protect you from harmful sunrays while going the airport or terminal and landing.  Lastly, your travelling bag is different of course from your luggage ( where you put all your clothes that you'll be needing for the whole vacation or trip).  Your bag should at least carry all your essentials like your travelling kit with make-up or medicines, your cellphone, wallet or other stuff that you will immediately need for landing.

Outfit # 2 -Dinner with the relatives or friends

Keep in mind where your destination will be.  If it is a tropical place like ours, then choose a dress that is comfortable yet elegant. Sleeveless are nice.  Choose also fabric that does not cling to your body.    Dark colors are best for dinners.  Avoid plunging necklines, of course, especially if you're having the meal with some older people or relatives.  Dresses mostly come in above the knee length, make sure it's not that mini or short so as not to distract anyone.  Remember, we should not only consider our style or desire for wearing an outfit, but let's also be considerate of others. Pair your cute yet elegant dress with flats, they can be sandals, peep-toe flats, ballet flats or gladiators.  Strappy flats are advisable, not only it gives your feet more space to breathe , but also straps make your feet look sexy, choose pairs that have studs on them.  Bring a strap bag, a purse or a tote for your personal stuff like wallet, make-up, keys etc. Make sure the color of your bag matches your outfit.  It doesn't need to be always black ( especially for the younger ones).  For the finishing touch, add a little glitter to your outfit.  A simple pair of earrings and bracelet will do.  If you don't have the expensive ones, there are a lot of fancies in the market that matches semi-formal gatherings like this.  If your bag is strappy or have long straps, avoid danglings or droop earrings, its redundant.  If you want to add a necklace, consider the neckline of your dress, a long necklace should not be worn on a V-neckline.  There are different necklace styles that you should consider depending on the neckline of your top.

Outfit# 3- Hitting the Beach

Choosing the right pair of swimwear can be a pain.  I will give the tips in my next post =).  Everybody's heading the beaches and resorts nowadays.  It means, the place is crowded.  Might as well grab this chance to flaunt not only our skin but also our style.  But keep in mind not to suffer comfort and function.  Choose a pair of swimwear that suits your criteria ( color, support, fabric, brand etc).  It can be 2-piece or a 1-piece suit. For us who are still shy to stroll around the beach with our 2-piece, you can add a bandeau dress, a sarong or a skirt for cover-ups. Choose color and design that would march your swimwear.   If you're heading the sand, don't forget the essentials: sunblock ( choose a higher SPF) , leather thongs or flip flops, a beach towel if you want to sun bathe, and a pair of sunglasses to protect you from the harmful sunrays. All these essentials are stylish and functional.

Outfit # 4-Exploring the city

If you're travelling with friends, I am sure there would be a lot of shopping to do, bazzars, street sales etc.
Grab this opportunity to let the locals see what you got by wearing this outfit.  It is best to stroll around with a pair of bottoms that are comfy and would give our legs more space to breathe.  Try this capri that are stylish as our usual denims but a little shorter.  There are also other kinds with a different fabric.  What's in today is the harem pants, you can also try them.  If you opt for shorts or skirts, it's fine but again, not too skimpy or mini because you would not be comfortable in worrying if your undergarments are already peeping. Take a cute tee or tank top with it, what's important is to let you feel fresh.  Add a scarf instead of a necklace. It would serve too as a bandana for your head if you dont have a hat or umbrella for the sunrays and for your hair to keep it groomed.  Bring your essentials with this cute messenger bag.  Accessorize with simple bracelet. You can choose ones that match the occassion of the weather.  For this case, a cute fruity bracelet and watermelon earrings to match, perfect for summer heat.

Outfit #5 -The Essentials

These are not exactly an outfit but these are the important stuff we need to remember when packing up for a trip.  An extra pair of jeans, you can never go wrong with it, I'll post some nice styles with it next time. A hoodie just in case, the weather changes, and as I mentioned this can protect you if you can't bear the cold inside the plane, the bus or even inside your hotel room. Extra tops, a medium kit for your essentials like medicines, emergeny kit, make-up, skincare, bath essentials just in case the hotel doesn't provide one. A passport wallet for all the travelling documents, tickets, money if you don't have wallet.  A foldable flats that you can put in your bag or tote, in case you need to change immediately.  If you're taking the bus or a private ride, you can also bring your ipod, you favorite book in case you're bored.  Don't forget a foldable or travelling pillow for those long-hour-trips.

Hope these are helpful to you. If you have other ideas , please feel free to share them. Thanks and Happy trip! =)
