Jeans 101: The best jeans for every body

Before I post the many styles we can make out of our favorite pair of jeans, let me share with you some tips on how to choose the right denim for our body type( or leg type).  Maybe it's time we do a check if we still have a good pair in our closet.
Our local stores have a lot to offer us from skinny, bootleg, straight cut, flare cuts etc. My personal favorites are Bench, Penshoppe and Folded & Hung for their wide choices and affordable prices.

Best Jeans for Petite Legs

Legs: Skinny and straight cuts keep your calves in proportion.
Waist: Your best bet is mid- or low-rise.
This is my style of jeans since I have short legs.  This type of jeans makes my legs look slimmer and longer.
Best Jeans for Plus Sizes

Legs: Your most flattering cuts are flared or straight.
Waist: Choose mid-rise styles that fall at your natural waist (right across the navel).

Best Jeans for Pear shape

Legs: Wide or boot cuts give the best balance to your silhouette.
Waist: To avoid "plumber butt," go for mid- or high-rise.
Best Jeans for Flat Butts

Legs: Look for flare cuts, especially if you have big thighs.
Waist: Mid-rise and low-rise styles won't add sag to your bottom.
Best Jeans for Long Legs

Legs: I envy them because anything goes! They can wear skinny, bootleg, straight or flare.
Waist: Since you don't need more elongating, stick to mid- or low-rise.
