Handy Tips

1. Removing wax drippings from candlesticks : Candles can leave a colorful reminder on your favorite metal candlesticks after burning.  This wax can be removed rather simply.  Put the candlesticks in the sink. Heat water in a kettle and pour over the waxy areas.  When the wax softens, just peel it off.  Same goes with glass candleholders.

2. Give your bathroom a bubble bath: To get rid of soap buildup on shower doors, apply baby oil with a moist cloth once a week.  Pour a cup of bleach into a stained toilet bowl; let sit for a few hours. Scrub and flush.

3. When painting, wrap an aluminum foil around doorknobs to keep drips off.  When storing silver, wrap them with aluminum foil to keep tarnish free. For easy cleanup, bake your cookies on aluminum-lined cookie sheet.

4. Squeezing more juice from oranges by cutting in half, then heating in the microwave for about 30 seconds.

5. Store onions in a brown paper bag on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator.  They'll keep longer without sprouting.

I'll be back next time for more tips..Hope these are helpful.
