Is it sinus, cold or the flu? I personally suffered from these and for me, it gets worse due to my asthma. Here's a quick guide to know whether you have sinusitis, a simple cold or worse, a flu and how to relieve and prevent them.
COLD symptoms: stuffy or runny nose, with headache, fatigue, sore throat and cough.
Treatment : actually there's no cure for cold. No matter how you follow the drugs you can get OTC, the span of time of cold mostly is a week or more. Just make sure you get plenty of rest and drink a lot of fluids.
Prevention: Drink fluids, wash your hands after being around someone who has a cold, and try to keep distance from people who are coughing and sneezing.

FLU symptoms: Fever, body aches and pains, dry cough, headache, fatigue and sometimes nausea and vomiting.
Treatment: Rest, drink fluids and take a pain medication.
Prevention: Get a flu shot before the flu season starts so that your body has enough time to build up an immunity.

SINUS symptoms: Runny, swollen nose, headache and pressure, tenderness or swelling of the cheeks just below the eyes or swelling above the eyebrows.
Treatment: Use a vaporizer or inhale system to improve drainage. Antibiotics such as amoxicillin are also helpful.
Prevention: Sinus infections often begin as a cold or flu, so preventing a cold or flu is the best way to avoid a sinus infection.
