minimize allergy misery

As an asthmatic, I have to lessen my exposure to certain allergens such as dust, pollen etc.  Here are some suggestions on how we can reduce our exposure to these allergens that would trigger the allergies.

1. Keep our windows closed to prevent pollens and molds from drifting the house.  When inside a car, keep windows closed when travelling, especially in the city where air is so polluted.

2. As much as possible, use air conditioner in your home or car to keep the air dry and cool.

3. Try to stay indoors when the pollen count or humidity is high.

4. Don't hang sheets or clothing outside to dry.

5. Don't mow the grass or rake.

6. Don't grow too many indoor plants or overwater your plants because wet soil encourages mold growth.
