bum bum pow no-more

May 6, 2010 at 9:00 am, got a final interview with my new employer. The talk lasted for 2 hours discussing the basics of my new duties and responsibilities. Had lunch at 11:00 am and returned at 1:00 for another sit-in discussion . I got hired not meeting the company's owner/president because he's out of the country. I just hope he had the right choice and will not regret having me as part of the team. The entire environment, set-up, people are very new to me and honestly, it shocked me ( not to mention the pay-well it's okay). I was used to a very tidy, corporate, business-like set-up and office for 13 years. Went to work in my business uniform and doodled for 8 long hours. But the new set-up is a big shocker to me ( or was it because I'm used to be a city-office-girl). I have to work 10 hours from 2 am placing sales/marketing calls to US offering manufacturing services to sports companies, and have to do it ALONE in a small office room. The room is a semi-office/sales/warehouse area. It's packed with sample bags, apparels and accessories, but all scattered either on the floor or under and on the table, in short, if our office will be judged via 5's, then I'm sure it's a loser. The people are really different from my previous officemates who were prim and proper( or were they just pretending). My new co-workers are cool,VERY down-to-earth,it's like you're partying, it's really loud. I am not complaining, just comparing. I will serve the group in the best way I can, and prove to them and myself that I CAN.

Paycheck! Paycheck!
