happy mother's day to our inang

May is a flower month. This is also the month we celebrate another flower in our life, our Mothers. Just like a flower that blooms and gives beauty to its surroundings, our mothers give unconditional love and care for her family. This love and care bind the family together and make us safe and comfortable in our homes. Our mother has been very busy all year in taking care of the family and less of herself.  Today, as we celebrate with the world in giving tribute to all mothers, let us make our mothers extra special on her month.
I already posted simple ways to celebrate mother's day, the key is to make her happy on this day.
My mother is already 73 years old, but she looks younger than her age, although she's often stressed, she has managed to cope with it with flying colors. We, her children have been imperfect, but she loves us despite the imperfections. We have a lot of shortcomings, but she loves us despite those shortcomings. We have been rude to them at times, but she loves us despite our ill manners. We have been ungrateful sometimes, but she loves us despite our ungratefulness. We have been stubborn, but she loves us and been patient with us despite  our stubbornness. We have neglected her welfare at times, but she loves us and take care of us despite that. We were wrong often in our decisions, but she loves us and did not leave us in the lowest points of our lives. We were often hopeless, but she loves us and gives us her never-ending advices and comfort. We were so busy to pray to God, but she loves us and pray for us for our problems and requests. I once read a quote about mothers, it says: God might be busy sometimes so He gave us our Mothers. Just like Mama Mary who intercede for us to Jesus, our dear mothers will always be our padrinos and guardians on earth.

Happy Mother's Day Inang!
